from initial discussions to initial working prototype based on a proprietary operating system (no license fees was a requirement) with 2 card applications and first wireless transaction in less than 4 months....production of units with over-the-air download/update functionality, additional card processing and terminal capabilities modules was achieved less than 3 months later.
